I love having students who are brand new to yoga in my class. One of the most exciting things about being a teacher is sharing yoga with someone for the first time.
This excitement to "share" is in line with the essence of karma yoga: selfless service to humanity.
The past two weeks, I have had the pleasure to teach several "first time" yoga students. The enthusiasm new students express after class to continue practicing yoga is inspiring and highly rewarding.
